Design, Development, Demonstration and Integration (D3I)
SMDC utilizes the D3I program to conduct research for the development of hardware components and software solutions in three domains. DOMAIN 1 – Space/High Altitude, And Missile Defense; DOMAIN 2 – Information Integration and Data Exploitation; DOMAIN 3 – Enhanced Warfighter Capabilities.

ACT, with the Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate (AFRL/RI), provides focused yet flexible, rapid contracting vehicle between AFRL, its Product Centers, and Operational Community to support rapid research, development, prototyping, demonstration, evaluation, and transition of cyber capabilities.
One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) is a multiple award, GSA IDIQ that provides flexible and innovative solutions for complex professional services. A²I supports both large and small OASIS primes.
This contract supports U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command (USASMDC/ARSTRAT) with Headquarters and Staff in Huntsville, AL and Operational Forces in Colorado Springs, CO.
